Terrific Kids Fun Days in the spring
As the school year is winding down, Terrific Kids come to our camp on Fun Days. We teach them to fish, they catch fish, they enjoy the blowup jumper, they do crafts, a fire truck or police visits, we all eat pizza and maybe some ice cream, we all have fun! A day of Kiwanis moments.

A lot of fun, fellowship, and pancakes were enjoyed Saturday morning. Thanks to all who made it happen, our Key Clubs, our guests, our cooks, all our volunteers, and all who sold tickets. Key clubs earned funds for their projects; our Kiwanis Club of Alexandria Foundation earned funds for scholarships. At the Youth Challenge Family Day, 5 Kiwanians set up a tent and banner and welcomed the young cadets (15 and 16 years old), some whose parents hadn't arrived. Thanks to our member, Reade Spivey, we gave the cadets Kiwanis Polar Bears and a pen to have their friends and family sign the bears. We also provided a meal of Popeye's fried chicken, red beans and rice, biscuits, chips, cookies, and water or soft drinks.
